| fantastic update, found 1 issue |

| | Posted on 2/15/2023 12:07:42 AM 443 days ago | | THANK YOU for the update...it is working...the only issue I have found is that I am getting like 3 questions in a row asked sometimes...then it will do 3 skips...then work for a bit....I need to go into the text and edit out the old emoticon text....other than that...all looks good. |

Perhaps in the next release. I'll hand over control of the text-capturing thread hold for the room in the setting configuration. The new Paltalk client makes the process of capturing the text in a room take significantly longer. |

| | Posted on 2/15/2023 8:42:14 PM 442 days ago | normally 20 people or so, sometimes up to 40. It seems that it is pushing out 3 questions in a row, not waiting for a response then skips the last question.
The other situation was weird where the question was skipped due to non-answer, but then it said "congratulations" and listed the user (part of the skipped dialog) as user name with the answer (obviously picked up form the "skipped answer" dialog. |

| | Posted on 2/15/2023 9:57:54 PM 442 days ago | We ran an Elvis only trivia for Valentines night not a large crowed maybe 30 and this did not happen until the bot was running a good hour then we noticed it was shooting a second question out before anyone answered and never let the hints appear.
But this was intermittent and happened a half dozen times then went back to normal for a bit then it would do it again for me anyway. |

Here is the other problem I mentioned...but I also get the multiple questions in a row issue as well....I will see if I can nap a copy of that as well when it happens.

| | Posted on 2/18/2023 1:15:51 AM 440 days ago | im having same issue as above, and my room is quiet, normally 10 or less in for the trivia... it gets to around Q100 with no issues then sends the answer out 3 times then asks up to 5 questions .. when it needs to show scores its asking the question then sgowing current leader then asking a new question too... theres no real pattern on how often itll throw out multiple questions but it definately annoyed my players on Thursday (which is the only day we have trivia).
Apart from that .. many thanks for the updated triviabot. |

it repeated the skip, but then used the answer from the skipped and said congratulations on answering :)

I would take a screen shot but I do not see anywhere to upload it, but I just had it flood the room with the same answer maybe 20 times over and over
I also noticed that on the host computer (the computer and nic I have my Trivia running) the double and tripple questions and what I just described is doubled.
So if there are 2 questions repeating then on the host nic there are 4, only the host sees that the other users see the two, but this last time it went totally nuts lol
Update,
I finally had to shut it off for now, it's worst now at least for us, it is non stop questions not accepting the answer, and all the above as well. I stopped it, rebooted the computer it is on restarted Trivia and within 5 minutes it was acting up. We have a pretty active group most of the time and a lot of chatter going on in text but that did not bother it before this last update and I am not so sure it is right now either but it is doing those things much more frequently |

I can't imagine the headache you have so thanks for the work you put into this for us!!
Update, that didn't work, now it does not recognize any rooms so you do need to use the latest version I guess. |

I know this is a lot of work, and like others...I thank you for the effort!

| | Posted on 2/21/2023 12:53:04 AM 437 days ago | | Yeah I just got that error for the first time today, but here is something, not sure if it means anything, but I tried to roll back by uninstalling new version and installing the old version 3.8.1 and as I said it would not find a room, then I re installed the new version, and in doing so I lost all my past data, users and points and all questions I added myself, however I have had no issues with double questions and no hints and so on. For the past hour will keep watching. |
